EVRGREEN ("Evrgreen," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through evrgreendigital.com and through the lead capture and messaging systems we operate for our clients, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect on this site
This site has two ways to reach us: an AI chat assistant and a contact form. Through either one, we collect what you choose to give us:
- Your name
- Your business name and/or website
- What you're looking for help with
- Your email address
- Your mobile phone number, if you choose to provide it, and whether you agreed to receive text messages
If you use the AI chat assistant, we also keep a transcript of the conversation so we can follow up on your questions and improve the assistant's answers. The assistant is an AI, not a person, and it tells you so if you ask.
Like most websites, our hosting provider also automatically receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to deliver and secure the site.
We don't collect payment information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this site. We don't use advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up about Evrgreen's services you've asked about
- To send text messages about your inquiry, only if you've given consent
- To operate, maintain, and protect this website
- To understand general interest in our services so we can improve our site and offer
We do not sell your personal information. We don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Text messaging (SMS)
Evrgreen runs two text messaging programs. Each is described in full, including how to opt in and out, in the SMS Terms.
- Evrgreen Inquiry Updates: if you give us a mobile number on this site and check the consent box, we may text you about your inquiry.
- Evrgreen Lead Alerts: if your business is an Evrgreen client and you've designated a mobile number to receive alerts in your service agreement, we text that number when your system captures a new lead.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Information we process for our clients
Evrgreen builds and operates lead capture systems, including website chat and text-message follow-up, for other businesses. When you interact with one of those systems on a client's website, the information you provide (such as your name, contact details, and what you asked about) is collected on behalf of that business and delivered to them, by text, email, or into the customer relationship management (CRM) system they use, so they can respond to you.
In that role, Evrgreen acts as a service provider to the business. We use that information only to operate the system for them, never for our own marketing, and we don't sell it.
If a business's system sends you text messages, those messages are sent in that business's name, with your consent to that business, and are governed by that business's own privacy policy and terms. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers we use to run our business, and only as needed for them to provide that service:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives contact form submissions
- Voiceflow, which runs the AI chat assistant on this site and stores chat transcripts, and the AI model providers it uses to generate the assistant's replies
- Make, which routes chat inquiries to our email and CRM
- HubSpot, our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where we keep records of inquiries and follow-up
- Google Fonts, which serves the Montserrat typeface and receives your IP address when the font loads
- Our email provider, which delivers and stores our correspondence with you
- Twilio, our SMS provider, which transmits the text messages we send
- A client's own CRM or business tools, when that client directs us to deliver its leads there
- The AI and hosting providers that power the lead capture systems we build for clients, which process conversation content only to generate responses and deliver leads
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information, including chat transcripts, for as long as it's reasonably useful for following up and for our business records, generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you unless we're working together. Information processed for a client is kept according to our agreement with that client. We delete information sooner on request (see below).
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take care to limit access to people and services that need it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information you've submitted, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@evrgreendigital.com. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. We'll honor reasonable requests promptly.
Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
